Truly one of a kind. Biddy never failed to light up my day and anyones who was in her presents. My favourite part of the week was going into to gossip with her. She was truly loved and missed by everyone who knew her. My bestfriend forever love you always Biddy❤️

RIP Auntie Bridget. Always the life and soul of the gatherings and parties. You will be missed so dearly. I have so many fond memories of us when I was a kid. As a willful little girl I would relish our summers spent in Ireland every year. Those 6 weeks flew by and there was never a dry eye when we left to head home to the UK. 🥹 You were patient, and understafimg my lovely Aunty Bridget, you made me feel special. Reading all of these condolences I see you made everyone feel special Every thing felt like an adventure with you, always playful and full of fun. From our trips to the launderette where we’d eat our bag of chips while waiting for the washing to dry, to our picnics at Cadbury castle with our 10p mix up bags and all the cousins in tow, happy happy times. Then there’d be the stray dogs we’d pick up along the way and who you’d give a home and promise you’d look after until we came back the following year. The made up ‘Suzie’ stories you told, which we loved and which I passed on to Esmee who loved them too. With the teenage years came the high heel shoes you bought us from the shoe factory and you’d always be my willing volunteer for my make up experiments before heading to o’briens on a Friday or Saturday night. Blessed to have had so many happy times spent with you, Paddy, Tommy, Julie and Selena. I am so grateful for those magical memories. You will be sorely missed by so many, but always fondly remembered. Sending love and strength to Paddy, Tommy, Julie, Selena, and all of her family at this very sad time. As part of our community, Bridget was a formidable character, walking daily on the Slì or crossing the road to the locas shop. A smile, a joke, but always a word. When socialising you would be guaranteed a spray of perfume, a daub of lipstick (whether you wanted it or not). Known by everyone and ready to welcome new friends. As part of the magnificent seven (sisters) she was the complete parcel - kind, caring and generous. To her family and extended family i can only offer my condolence and prayers.
