My sincere sympathy to Pat, Eileen, Sean and all the extended Hartley and Curtis on the passing of Beanie. I remember all the summers I had the privilege of staying for holidays in Weatherstown. From the early milking to the best apple pie what more could a young child want. Thanks for all the great memories. Thinking of you at these difficult times.

"How sweet 'tis to roam by the sunny Suir stream,
And hear the dove's coo 'neath the morning's sunbeam.
Where the thrush and the robin their sweet notes combine
On the banks of the Suir that flows down by Mooncoin.
Flow on, lovely river, flow gently along.
By your waters so sweet sounds the lark's merry song.
On your green banks I'll wander where first I did join
With you, lovely Molly, the Rose of Mooncoin.
Oh Molly, dear Molly, it breaks my fond heart,
To know that we two for ever must part
I will think of you, Molly, while sun and moon shines
On the banks of the Suir that flows down by Mooncoin..."
You got the send off you deserved, it was a fitting tribute of the person you were. A loyal friend to many . A great wife and mother . May God rest your gentle soul, Beanie
Condolences to Pat , Eileen , Sean and extended family 🙏✨️❤️

I will miss Nanny dearly and am sending love to Mammy, Grandad, Sean and all the family at home. I’m sorry to not be there with you all. Much of our childhood memories are of sleepovers, visits and holidays spent in Weatherstown where Nanny and Grandad always welcomed us. To our delight she had ice pops, tarts and fizzy drinks waiting for us each and every time. She was a kind and caring person and I will fondly remember walks on the farm, feeding the chickens, regular trips to the shops for sweets, sitting by the fire and catching up on camogie and life in general. When I think of Nanny I will think of her in Weatherstown with Trixie in her lap and Sammy at her feet. We will miss her terribly. May she rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Granddad, Dad, Aunt Eileen, and the entire family on the loss of Nanny. I have the best memories of sleeping over in Weatherstown when I was younger and Nanny always feeding us her famous apple tart. Nanny never missed one of my birthdays despite living so far away. I’ll always remember Nanny as being a softly spoken yet extraordinary woman that never complained. She will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Pat, Sean , Eileen, Antoinette, Liz , John plus Margo & Ned, & the extended family network and grandkids.
Bridget or "Beano" as Ned says she waz called at home , was named after her own mum, and probably of all the siblings was the closest in both physicality and character to Mrs O Neill. No fuss, no grandure, just get the job done, enjoy the small things, and understanding on 1950/60s Ireland that education was the way to better life for the next generation. ..... "She did some work , in both Strangemills and Weatherstown , some work" is what Ned said when i told him the sad news. She would do anything he said , and thats coming from a set of siblings that as teenagers built their own house, even made their own blocks, and Beanie would carry them up the ladders to Michael to lay them on the wall he said. Was there full-time until marrying and continued that work ethic on in Weatherstown. The joy and pride she must have felt seeing her own children own their own businesses n climb the ladder in education admin. The pride in all the grandkids with degrees and All Ireland medal and the singing voices. The joy of visiting Australia and then City West on All Ireland banquet night. How far were those away as a pupil in Strangsmills. So great to have found New Ross Community Hospital and enjoy those last years in the comfort deserved.A great life, of simple but wonderful values lived. RIP Beanie
