During the early 80’s it was so special to visit their home in Portdrine where the “ crack was 90” & kindness had no limits. You always left full & kinda merry. Like her parents before her, Bridget was full of gentleness & we now hope the good Lord rewards her in Heaven, while also looking after all her loved ones as they grapple with this huge loss.

It’s hard to find the right words at this very sad time, growing up in Portdrine was special, amazing neighbours and lifelong friends. I’ll never forget those summer nights in Kirby’s with Bridget playing a Joe Dolan cassette on repeat while we all tried to fall asleep and the countless Sundays spent in Killaloe trying our hand at water skiing. Rainy mornings didn’t seem so grey when Bridie would squeeze us all into her Toyota Celica for the very much appreciated lift in to Laurel Hill, special times.
These memories along with Bridget’s warmth and kindness, will always stay with me. Rest in peace Bridget.
