Sincere sympathy to Kevin, Sharin, Ronan, Bebhinn, Rioghnach and Caoimhín and the extended Murphy and Reilly families on Bridie's sad passing. We have lovely memories of a woman who was always in good humour and her infectious laugh affected everyone around her. Rest in God's peace Bridie.
I was so sorry to hear about Bridget's passing. It was always a pleasure to visit her in Glebe House with Molly, my dog. We will both miss seeing her each week. My sympathy to all her family. It was easy to see how special she was by the love and care that they had for her.

Sincere sympathy to the Murphy and Reilly families. I did not have the pleasure of meeting this wonderful lady but my grandmother, Bridgie Keane otherwise known as Bridgie Rodger from Surgeview often spoke of her endless generosity.
In the early 1960’s my uncle was in hospital in Dublin. Getting from Surgeview to Dublin was no mean feat for a woman in her mid fifties at that time but my grandmother would find her way to Ballina and take the train to Dublin. There she would be met by Bridie John Sibby who would keep her in her own home and drive her to and from the hospital so my grandmother could visit her ill son.
This kindness and generosity was spoken of often down through the years and will never be forgotten. The kind and caring nature Bridie Reilly Murphy had for her own
people was second to none.
