Such a lovely lady - I have many fond memories of going into her shop where there was always a chat and a kind word.
May she rest in peace
My condolences to you. I used to go to the shop as a kid in the early seventies to spend my pocket money on sweets and crisps. Mrs. O'Brien was always smiling and had something nice to say. In the years after when we crossed paths she would always start with "Ah Charles, how are you?", with that lovely lilt of familiarity and friendship. A lovely woman.
We are thinking of you all at this very sad time
