We have very happy memories of when Bridget visited our family home in Knockjames after Sunday mass in Knockjames Church. Bridget and our mam had a great friendship and enjoyed a good laugh when they remembered their days back in Tyredagh. May she rest in peace. Thinking of you all.

She took part with enthusiasm in the 2011 reunion of her Knockjames National School which had disappeared from the landscape in 1959. She visited her native area many times since then - bringing her rich smile and gentle nature to those of us who had the very good fortune to know her and to meet her.
