It was with great sadness that we heard of the passing of our group member and dear friend, Bridget (RIP). Bridget originally joined the walking group with May, and together they attended our Monday morning group. After May’s passing, Bridget returned to the walking group, and together we all shared many days out and adventures in various locations across Cork City and County. Bridget always had a smile on her face, and she forged many firm friendships within the group. In the past year or so, these friendships were sustained through text, calls, and visits.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to Emer, Declan, Kevin, and Bridget’s extended family, neighbours, and friends. Bridget’s warmth, kindness, and friendship will never be forgotten, and she will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.
