Bridgie Shanley

So sad to hear of Bridgie's passing. I remember her so well as a child as a wonderful woman. My grandfather was her neighbour Michael McHugh. I visited Clooneagh Cross so many times and my family have so many fond memories of Bridgie, Billy and their lovely mother always sitting by the fire. Newspaper hats and a house full of charm.

Tea was an occasion and Bridgie's lively conversation and personality was always a treat. Just the thing

My mother Maureen was very fond of her and we really appreciated her lovely card when she passed in 2021.

My family and I were very sorry to hear too late to attend her funeral. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Rest in peace Bridgie, lovely memories of her at Sunday Morning Mass in Bornacoola Church, also as a loyal supporter of the Far East and Africa magazines distributed through the school and as a very capable driver of her trusty Morris Minor as she navigated the byways. Another wonderful parishioner gone to her eternal reward. Ar dhes De go raibh a anam croga .
