So sorry to hear of Bridie's passing. She was an absolute gem of a person and a lady. She was a long time member in Dooradoyle Leisure Club where I worked. We looked forward to her coming in every day. Always so bright and bubbly. She was a fellow theatre lover and we had many conversations about the same. A privilege to know! I'm in Spain at the moment. I would have gone to the funeral, otherwise.

It was always a pleasure to meet Bridie as she was always a very lively and interesting lady to chat to. She will be sadly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Condolences to the Breen family, neighbours of mine in the 60's.
As a teenager Myles and Bridie provided me with Summer work all over Munster in their catering enterprise. Horseshows, Race meetings and Golf Tournaments.
Great times and the money was good too.
Bridie taught me how to butter the bread sandwiches, applying it and then scraping it off.
Rest in Peace Bridie. 104 years, what an amazing woman.
