The railway track was the direct link between our backyards. We scampered down to Bridie Mulleady’s on sunny Sat. mornings in the sixties to play cowboys and Indians in Geraghty’s back garden with Padraig and Eugene. The dead and injured were then treated to Bridie’s hospitality served with her distinctive smile.Fond memories. A great neighbour and a great Mother who reared a lovely family.
