Bridie was so supportive to all parents in the Midlands and especially our family. Our belated condolences to Tommy and family. May she enjoy an eternal rest which she has greatly earned.

Dear Tommy, Louise, Joseph, granchildren and sisters of Bridie. My deepest sympathies to you all on the death of your beloved Bridie. I have lots of fond memories of Bridie. She and Tommy welcomed me into their homes in Artane, Donabate, and Spain. She and Sr Patricia brought me to Lourdes in 1975. I watched the funeral mass on line this morning. I am very sorry to learn of the death of dear Bridie, my late wife Alice and I were very fond of her as I am of Tommy, I send my sincere condolences to Tommy, Louise and all the family.

Bridie , you where a very special lady who had time for everyone you met , you went out of your way and nothing was too much trouble , you welcomed us into your home here and in Spain like we where part of the family and we will miss you and remember you fondly and will always be in our hearts and our memories , our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this sad time.

It's hard to adequately describe Bridie's legacy; a mother who went above and beyond to lead a difficult fight for a better life for children with Cystic Fibrosis in 1960's Ireland. Generations of people with CF now live better lives as a result of advocacy and services stemming from her campaigning. Thank you Bridie, from us all.

We are all deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Bridie. She was not only a good friend to the family but a massive support to us through the work both Bridie and Tommy did heading up CFI for so many years. Her legacy is not only her family, but her CF family and all the PWCF who are here today as a direct result of Bridie's work . Many of us have vivid memories of trips to Lourdes and summer camps in Gormanston, as they brought so much enjoyment to so many. Bridie will be dearly missed by all.
