Condolences to the O Sullivan and O Gorman families on the sad loss of Bridie. Sincere sympathy also to my auntie Nora who shared a lifelong friendship of love and laughter with Bridie. She was a wonderful neighbour. She was the phone service provider on our road before the days of mobile phones. She loved a good song, poem or joke. Fond memories as a child of herself and Eileen and of course her little dog Tiny. May all who mourn her loss find comfort in knowing she had a life well lived. Fondly known to us as Auntie Bridie she was a special lady full of kindness, loyalty, fun, and generosity with that trademark mischievous smile never far away. Time spent in her company always lifted the spirits.
For us no trip to Killarney was complete without a visit to Ballydribeen where a warm loving welcome awaited. Bridie regaled us with stories from her youth, her working life, Pitch an Putt, Bingo. Day Care, and Bowling always with a smile and a laugh.
Bridie will be greatly missed by many especially those of us who loved her greatly. Gone to join Paul in their eternal Home.
