Unfortunately we were out of the country last week so couldn't attend the funeral.

I'm so sad to hear about the loss of Bridie and also that I can't be there for the funeral. Bridie was our rock when the kids were growing up. She took such good care of Sophie and Eva. She also took care of my stepchildren when their mother was in hospital. All of them remember her with love. Bridie could put her hand to anything and I remember coming in to see the washing machine upside down on the floor (she was fixing it) or she'd be up a ladder painting the house or cooking up a big dinner, always so busy and active. I always felt so lucky that I had found her and I was the envy of others because of her great care and attention to the girls. We'd always have a good laugh together too and she was my friend. Love to Tom and all the family in this very difficult time. May she rest in peace.
