I am so sorry to hear of lovely Betty's passing. My mother Frances, met Betty in Cappagh hospital a few years ago. Betty was so kind and fantastic company for my Mum who was recovering from a fall and having problems talking. Betty made a real impression on all of us and she brightened up that ward no end with her good humour and easy chat. She was so proud of her family and she seemed very content with her life. After hospital discharge, they kept in touch a bit with photos of their garden flowers. Mum is very frail now unfortunately but we have often mentioned Betty- she was just one of those people that left a bright, joyful mark even though it was fleeting contact. I send sincere condolences to her family- it is comforting to know her genes are being passed down and her legacy will be sustained. xx

Your lovely Mum and Grandmother was an example to us all.. She left the world a better place. I was greatly saddened when Audrey informed me of her passing.
