A life-long member and dedicated supporter of the Club, Bríd worked tirelessly to promote the musical tradition she loved. At various stages, Bríd served with distinction as our Club Secretary and Chairperson, as well as finding time to serve at County Board and Leinster levels.

Heartfelt Sympathy to Brid's family on her sad death. May she rest in Peace. I have known Brid since the late sixties, early seventies when she supported the C.C.E Branch in Ardclough. We continued to 'soldier' together at the Leinster C.C.E Conventions and I always looked forward to meeting with her over the years at Comhaltas events. Brid was a great servant to all things Traditional and will be greatly missed.

Sincere sympathy to the Brody family on the death of Bríd. She was a wonderful, decent and considerate person who was dedicated to helping others. Bríd was always very friendly and supportive to all the young musicians in the Pipers’ Club and indeed, throughout the country. The Pipers’ Club was like her second family. The O’Connor family witnessed that friendship first hand and have very fond memories of her with her warm hearty laugh and gracious welcome. A proud Clare woman, she loved traditional music, especially the Kilfenora Céilí Band. She will be sadly missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Bríd's passing. Our sincere sympathy to all her wide family. Bríd was a great person and great fun, a proud Clarewoman and with a great love for the music. She supported every music event, from her early days going to the Bridge St Club to her lifetime involvement with The Pipers Club Comhaltas. And she came on the Bus to Mullahoran for most of 50 years until she was no longer able to travel. And you wouldn't have to look for her at the Concert, you just heard her hearty laugh from the middle of the audience. We will miss Bríd and we miss her at Mullahoran.
