I have such fond and happy memories of visiting Bridie’s home when I was a child and getting rhubarb from her well stocked garden. She was always kind, warm and welcoming, and would never accept payment. She had the gentle, easy, polite and quiet ways of the country people of that time. May she now rest in peace.
