The committee, staff, residents, day members and volunteers at Carnew Community Care were deeply saddened to learn of the unexpected passing of Brigid (Dooley) after a short illness. We extend our deepest sympathies to her heartbroken children and to the extended O’Keeffe and Dempsey families. We have many fond memories of Dooley’s frequent visits to the Centre in the company of her beloved husband Jim whom she looked after with such tender care and devotion.
She was a very friendly lady who enjoyed a chat with the people she met in the Centre. She will be remembered as a proud and devoted mother as well as a great friend and neighbour.
