Really saddened to learn of Brigid's death. Sincere sympathy to Karen and to the extended family. Brigid and my sister, Mary, were classmates in the Convent, while Patrick and I were classmates in St Mel's. Valued memories of life in Longford a long time ago.

I first met Brigid and Vincent when we arrived en masse to Golf Links Road for Sheila's 21st birthday. We were welcomed with warm smiles, open arms and extended amazing hospitality.

I met Brigid on other occasions down through the years and remember her beautiful smile, her impeccable manners, her genuine interest in what was happening in my life, her pride in her family, her calmness. She was an amazing lady who left a lasting impression.

Your mum is now reunited with your Dad Sheila and what an amazing legacy and impact on the world they have left behind in raising such a beautiful family. They should be so proud of you all.
