Deepest condolence's to all the McQuillan family especially my school pal Maeve. I remember fondly playdates back in the day when I attended Mount Anville NS. Mrs McQuillan was the lovliest lady, so kind. She aged so beautifully with grace. May she RIP

Our sincere sympathies to all the McQuillan family on the death of your dear Mum Brigid. She was a gentle and kind neighbour and one of the first to welcome us to Les Ardennes some 50 years ago. She was a beautiful woman in every way.

Our condolences go out to our cousins Siobhan, Kevin Niamh and Maeve. I still have the Joe Dassan record singles Bridget gave me when you all lived in France. Last time I spoke with Bridget I was messing telling her I was having a hard life she responded “pity about you”!! We all had a good laugh. Bye Bridget.

Sincere sympathy to Artie and all the family on the passing of Brigid - a very warm and special person. We have so many happy memories of our time beside our McManus neighbours in Alphonsus Villas and friendship over the years.

My memories of my aunt are only pleasant ones, which says a lot about her character.

She was soft, gentle and kind but could also hold her own. An angelic presence with a quiet confidence, but with a good wit! Always very elegant. She was also very generous to others which I learned later on, as she shared with me that she was volunteering at a hospital.

A distinct memory is a gift she gave to my children. A beautiful book on Irish myths and legends that I read to them and they still remember.

I am so happy that I saw her for her 90th Birthday celebrations. She was in great spirits.

Our thoughts are with you all during this sad time.

On behalf of my Mam, Helen (nee Muldoon), & family, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Brigid’s family on her passing. Mam grew up in Seatown Place Dundalk, and spoke regularly of the McManus family, and especially Brigid and Catherine. We, as children, when visiting our Grandparents in Dundalk, regularly dropped into St. Alphonsus Villas, and I have fond memories of those times. We send our deepest condolences to Brigid’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and to her dear brother Artie and his wife Sarah. Brigid’s early days as a nurse in Belfast were a big part of our childhood memories. We remember her kindness and graciousness. Reunited now with her beloved Don we know she is at peace among the angels.
