Such fond memories i have of Biddy throughout my lifetime. Her laughter, her fondness for life, and the cheeky jokes i made with her regarding Cork and Waterford hurling! 'Champion cheese' was a staple in her house where her late husband Frank got me hooked on, an obsession which still lasts to this day!

When i realised in my mid teens just how much Waterford hurling meant to my mum, i quickly knew where it stemmed from.

I will never forget my seemingly endless conversations with you and Frank about Waterfords chances in the forthcoming all Ireland championship.
