Grandma, thank you for being a role model and inspiration to us all. I always admired your strength and determination, ‘no complaints’ attitude and pragmatic approach to life. I will always cherish the letters we shared as pen pals and the time we had together in New Zealand and in Ireland. You will be missed. Rest in peace xxx
Deepest sympathy to Bridget’s sons and families. I got to know your mum through a prayer meeting we both attended and through our chats when we met on Monkstown Rd and Queens Park. Bridget was an inspirational woman, with a deep spirituality and a heart full of compassion for those less fortunate. I will always have in my mind the image of her in her final months, at the junction of Queens Park and Monkstown Rd, sitting on the seat of her walker catching her breath, looking at the world going by and gaining strength to walk home again. Bridget was a truly good and holy woman, in the deepest meaning of those words. It was a blessing to have known her.
My mum & I had known Bridget with the lay carmilites group in our local parish church in Guardian Angels in Newtownpark Avenue. She was a lovely & down to earth lady. She was always up for the chat with us when she seen us on the street or in the church. She will be terribly missed by us both. RIP Bridget.
John, Paul and Mark
Sincere condolences on the death of your Mum Breeda - I have very fond memories of meeting your Mum playing badminton and as I was now an adult being expected to refer to her as Breeda. I found this very strange as we all know growing up in Wynberg Park the children referred to the neighbours as Mr and Mrs so your Mum always remained Mrs Ryan to me!
I am sorry I was unable to attend either day of your Mum’s funeral celebration.

Fond childhood & badminton memories.
Quick-witted and not a fan of ‘a fuss’. Fierce and strong willed. Always with an offering of food and a cup of tea. The image of you standing on the doorstep of 28 Wynberg, waving us down the road as we drove away, will stay will me forever. What a legend.
Rest in peace Granma Bridgie ❤️

I will miss our lovely chats on the phone about what's happening in the world and your kindness and caring. I have been blessed to have you as my mother-in-law.
You have fought a brave battle with grace and dignity, and now you're in the safe arms of Jesus. You have waited your whole life to meet him, and I know you are happy and secure in his care.
My love and prays are with you, Kim
