I had the privilege of being taught by Br. Moloughney in SULLIVANS Quay in both second and scholarship classes. He was a brilliant, committed and enthusiastic teacher. In the scholarship class he taught us from 9 in the morning until 7 in the evening every day and in the afternoons we had a break for either Gaelic games or boxing. That year was the most important year in the educational development of so many students, thanks to his commitment and generosity.
The man may have departed this life but his generous spirit, leadership and kindness will never be forgotten by those of us fortunate to have benefitted so much from the work of this remarkable man who practiced his Christian faith to the full.

He was a lovely man and helped me in my sporting carreer at Sullivan`s Quay CBS.

It was always a pleasure to meet Brother Liam, particularly at Tipperary games. Both our fathers had worked in St. Lukes, Clonmel so there was always lots to talk about.He also loved to get the latest news about the schools in Tipperary.

Sincere sympathy to all who mourn the passing of a dear friend and colleague. We have fond memories of him as Principal of Ennis CBS. He was a man of great vision. He spearheaded the introduction of co-education to all Primary Schools in Ennis Parish in the early 1990s. As a leader he was always kind and supportive. He was an enthusiastic Cathaoirleach of Cumann na mBunscol an Chláir from 1992 to 1996. He was a clear and decisive in his decision making. He had a great sense of humour and a positive interest in sport, especially hurling, and people in general. Cinnte dearfa, ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal dílis.
