So sorry to hear of the passing of one of the country's greatest, natural chefs. My husband John and I only spoke of 'Cora's' restaurant recently uncanny. We were discussing the greatest meals we've ever had and Cora's was up there with and AHEAD with all the 5 star ⭐️ rated ones. Cora's took simple, fresh ingredients and made so special. Salads to salivate for, soup, meat balls, fried potatoes. Any ingredient became supreme cuisine. Our children adored the flat based home made pizza. Indeed my husband often quotes nobody does a thin pizza base as Cora's could do. When the restaurant was closing we said to Cora she should write a cookbook and do a T.V. show it would have been pure MAGIC. Condolences to the family her husband with whom they made kitchen magic and indeed her daughters whom often worked there. May she rest in perfect PEACE and HEAVEN rejoice that a supreme chef has entered it's family. Audrey Power (former satisfied customer)
Claudia and Stefania, and of course your Father,
We offer all your family our deepest sympathy and assurance of our prayers on your sad news of Signora Basini. We have such great memories of her two lovely little girls at school and such delicious Sunday lunches in Cora's - a real family occasion for us as it was my Mother's discovery and absolute delight.
