Caitlin Duane
(née Walsh)

Mrs. Duane was a wonderful woman and I would say I was privileged to have worked with her and received such wonderful training with her as a pharmacist. She had a big impact on my life and I will never forget her. She was the ultimate professional, so intelligent and knowledgeable. I am really thankful to have spent time with her and to have learned from her. She was a strong and sharp woman and I admired her for all she achieved and also continuing to work for so long. I send my condolences to the whole family - she helped so many people in many ways and she will be missed.

She gave me my first part-time job as a teenager in 1978 and I have very happy memories of my four years working in Duane's pharmacy. She was a lovely person to work for, and I well remember our Christmas Eve trips around the town in her Mini, dropping off Christmas presents.
