Caitríona (Careen) Ní Cuinneagáin

I was very sorry to learn of Careen’s death. She was such a generous spirit with strong principles which she stood by all her life. A lively, happy presence at family gatherings. She will be sadly missed. Mo chomhbhrón le Conall, Bernadette, Jeanne agus a neacht agus nianna.

My sincere sympathies to Bernadette, Jeanne, Conall and to the extended O Cuinneagáin family, on the loss of the lovely Careen. I knew her from my time in Scotia. I had some fantastic neighbours and friends there and Careen was among them. She was friendly, smiley and witty whenever I’d meet her and she couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming when I moved in and especially when, some years later, we brought our baby home. I used to worry about his crying disturbing her, in the apartment right over us. Whenever I’d talk to her about it, she would say she never heard a thing! I’d find a lovely book at the door for him next day and a little gift for me, accompanied by beautiful cards and notes. That’s the type of person she was and I will always remember her very fondly.
RIP dear Careen.

Lovely memories of when I worked In Cunningham Solicitors as a teenager, both parents spoke so highly of their son and daughters. A beautiful family. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
