Sincerest condolences to all Camille's family on her sad passing. A wonderful unique lady who is sorely missed in Dooagh. May her gentle soul rest in peace
It was a pleasure to know Camille may she rest in peace. When I was introduced to her by Marjorie Wallace in Lourdies many years ago it was indeed an honour to be able to sit in her company and hear many great stories of her painting career. She was great company, witty and loved talking to like minded people. Achill will not be the same without her. Thinking of her family and artistic friends at this sad time.
Sincere condolences to Emma and all the Souter Morris family on the passing of Camille. Often in my thoughts over the years.
Gino. My sincere condolences on the death of your mother Camille. May she Rest in Peace.

Dear all Souter Morrises,
RIP has just informed me that I can have between 3 and 1500. Characters, Words, Paragraphs? At 93 there should be no limit...
I've obviously exceeded any of those, so I'll try again... We'd known her for a very long time, and she lived for one. What a woman, mother, painter, and eclectic soul.
Childhood memories, victors exchanged for Bunties and Judys...
Let us know if and when you host a memorial; we've just had a two-year memorial for AJ; it means a lot.
Love, John-David, and Rita.

Sending our sincere sympathy to Camille’s family. A uniquely talented woman! May Camille Rest In Peace
I am a long time member of the Irish Geological Association and many years ago, Camille contacted us about wanting to see rocks and landscapes through a geologists' eyes and not just as an artist. As it happened, we were organizing a field trip to Iceland, and she decided to come along. She never forgave me since!
She fell in love with the place and went back many times on her own, but sadly, I believe she tore up more canvases on Iceland, than on any other subject.
As I said to an IGA colleague this evening, what was amazing about Camille was that she made every moment of her life count, wherever she was and whoever she was with and we loved her for that.
"Sic transit in gloria mundi".
I'm abroad at the moment, so please forgive the gap in time.
We, in the IGA, will indeed miss Camille and remember her beautifully, as a deep force of nature.
Frank Clissmann.

'Degged with dew, dappled with dew
Are the groins of the braes that the brook treads through,
Wiry heathpacks, flitches of fern,
And the beadbonny ash that sits over the burn.
What would the world be, once bereft
Of wet and of wildness? Let them be left,
O let them be left, wildness and wet;
Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.'
Inversnaid Gerard Manley Hopkins
