Sincere condolences to the O'Moore family

Deepest condolences to Canon O Moore’s family. I met Fr O Moore first as a child when he was parish priest of Laurel Lodge and he was magnificent. He really set the tone for the start of a new parish. A deeply spiritual and insightful man. When he moved to Monkstown, on a visit with my parents we had the joy of counting the money from the collections which we loved. Fond memories of his visits to our home making him his favourite cup of cocoa. A new addition in the 80s to cups of tea!!!! Such a warm welcoming man always. I last met him at the anniversary celebrations in Laurel Lodge where he still made mass even in the wheel chair with his oxygen but as sunny chatty and cheerful as ever. Our family will miss his sunshine heart: may he continue to shine brightly in heaven and enjoy his eternal rest in the arms of angels. An honour and privilege to have met such a wonderful human being.

Deepest Sympathy to Brian , Beatrice & family on the death of Fr. Maurice. So glad to have seen him a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we are abroad at present and unable to attend. May he Rest In Peace.
