It is with regret we learned of the tragic passing of Gilbert. He was a valued player in the club before he pursued his career overseas. He was positively influential within his peer group and helped so many to develop both personally and in sport.

Our sincere condolences to David, Meg and your extended family on the loss of Gilbert. I had the pleasure of coaching him (football) as a teenager, and then you could see his natural leadership ability. It was no surprise to us that he rose rapidly in his career. He lit up every room he entered with his personality. May he Rest in Peace.
