She was one in a million, always in great humour and you were definitely guaranteed to have a laugh when you met her. She was a fabulous nurse and the kids she looked after adored her too. So sorry to hear the sad news about Cara. She was always the life and soul of the party and loved her beloved Charlestown. I trained with Cara in Crumlin back when we were young and had great plans for our life ahead. Cara loved the chats and and was the most loving genuine nurse. Taken far too young. RIP Cara. 💜

Cara visited us on a number of occasions in Dublin. These visits were memorable and always a great pleasure. She showed a particular interest in our autistic son and it was obvious that she had enormous empathy with all who had disabilities, many of whom she had cared for over the years. Cara will be missed but also celebrated by all of us.

Just reading through all of the condolences for Cara and it is so obvious what an amazing person she was to so many people. She was apply name as she was a friend to so many.

What an amazing legacy she has left to the world. Remember her coming to see her Granny years ago when she was small and just a ball of energy, happiness and fun. Looks like she carried that forward in her life. My sincere condolences to Pat, Michael, Siobhan, David and Kathryn, her nephews and niece who we could see she adored. Such a huge personality with an infectious laugh heard for miles. I worked with Cara on St. Annes , we were both heading for the 'WEST' after our shift on Xmas day, but i pulled the short straw to get on the road earlier. I'd say i was only on the Motorway when she sent me a photo of herself with Colin Farrell visiting the ward! I laughed so loud thinking there i was thinking i was the lucky one that day 🤣Heaven has gained an angel that will make sure there is always laughter and fun times up there. I will always remember her laugh, her amazing smile and giggles ….. especially at 2/3 am on night duty in St. Anne’s ward. She was a fantastic nurse, friend and colleague. When I moved to lucan she was so good to me and made sure we got settled. She will be so badly missed and my sincere condolences to all her dear family.
