Carmel Bruce

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Carmel. We were so lucky to have her as our next door neighbour when we lived at 36 for several years. A true gentlewoman with a great spirit and charm.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Bruce. A lovely neighbour and a lady. May she rest in peace.

Carmel was a lovely lady. She was great friends with my own Mum, Essie Aherne. They went everywhere together, to Mass, the Convent. Just jump on a bus and out to the Botanic Gardens, holiday and breakaways with different clubs. She was so bright, intelligent, a great memory and great company, and so caring for Mum. She was a lady of her time and ahead of her time, and she will be really missed as my Mums best friend. Rest in Peace Carmel.
