I was so sad to hear of Carmels passing. She was such a sweet lady. Always interesting and interested. She always had time to chat and enquire as to how you were . May she rest in the arms of Jesus and watch over her brother Tom as she always did.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of dear Carmel's death.
She was a lovely lady with a generous heart.
Carmel was a wonderful friend and neighbour to my Mam Bridie (Byrne) on Old County Road for many, many years and they remained close friends after you both moved to Lucan.
I, too have fond memories of many great conversations we had together.

What a devastating loss for you, Tom. Carmel was a wonderful, kind lady with a great sense of humour, and was always interested in everyone, and everything that was going on in their lives. There was a wonderful friendship between the Cormack and the O’Connor families since childhood. You were Carmel’s life Tom, she idolised you.
