Carmel was a most valued member of our Sangha (meditation group) in Oscailt Pembroke Road Dublin for many years. Her compassion and warmth will always be remembered. She gave me a warm hug only a few weeks ago when we met to meditate. Her meditation practice gave her comfort and she often said that being in our group gave her love and support It's hard to believe that she is no longer with us. My sympathy goes out to all her family.

So very sad to hear about passing of my Dear friend Carmel. I was also part of Fas group of 14 of us from 1992. I have so many fond memories of our time with her in France. I also spent many times with her when we came home and stayed with her for fantastic holiday when she was living in New Jersey. It was our 25yr anniversary this year & we were all hoping to get together again. Dear Carmel I am so sorry I didn't get to see you again over years but you were never forgotten. I will never forget you & hope you are at peace now. Your loving friend forever Sinead X
Sincere condolences on the sad sudden passing of Carmel. I was one of 14 who went to France through our FAS course, with Carmel in 1992. She will always be part of our memories of that wonderful time in France.
May she rest in peace.
