It is with great sadness I write this note. I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to all in the lead up to the untimely death of my “Soul Mate” My dear wife Carmel. The way I feel right now is that some of my life went with her. We had few bad times but we had many, many great times with travels and dancing in with the good times during the fifty years we were together. (well almost 50 years)
To doctors and staff at the Headford Road Medical Centre. To consultants, doctors, nurses, receptionists, staff at the the Bon Secour Hospital Galway. To doctors, nurses and staff in Galway Hospice, Renmore, Galway. To Martin Hanley Funeral Services and staff. To Fr. Seán for the lovely service in Corrandulla church, the beautiful music and singing by Micheál, Shannon and Kayleigh. To the motorcylists who led the way to Shannon. To the staff at Shannon Crematorium. To all who put their notes in R.I.P. Condolences, all who sent cards. My neighbours and friends I say thank you all. To Carmel's friends from bye gone years and all her friends on Facebook. My close family, Ian, Amy, Rayanne, Ross, Collette, Katrina, my brothers Martin Joe, Eamonn, his wife Carmel and all extended familys, a sincere thanks to you for all your love and support, that will help me along the way. It makes me feel good I was there to hold Carmel's hand as she passed away on Febuary 20th 2025 @ 8.17pm.
Many thanks to all for your kind words. Carmel I miss you and will always love you.
