We are so sorry to only hear of Carmels passing. We have very fond memories of her throughout the years during our time living in Glenfield.

I met Carmel in January 2025 in Sligo hospital, we were both inpatients at the time. There are no words to describe Carmel but I will try.
Carmel was one of a kind, caring, funny and witty. We kept in contact when we were both discharged.
We subsequently met again in March 2025 both as inpatients again.

May Carmel help you all as you grieve her lost.

in 1974 we had a little singing group called scarlet yap with carmel, jannet demsey, dara molloy she was so funny to be with the group got its name because carmel would say[ i am scarlet] and she never stopped yapping great times so sad to hear passing god speed
