Condolences to all of Carmel's family. I have fond memories of her from Sion Hill '73. Always full of fun. May Carmel rest in peace.
Rest in the peace of Christ Jesus Carmel.
I met Carmel through my sister Noreen and visits to Naples over many years.
Carmel was a witty, colourful and vivacious character. I enjoyed listening to her animated stories, her bright spark of joy will be missed by all that we’re lucky to know her.
May she rest in eternal peace.

Mairead Judith Jonathan and extended family. I was so sad to hear of Carmel’s passing. She was a beautiful person, always smiling and always had time for others. I was glad I met up with her and her sons when she was over visiting her beautiful Mum in the nursing home. She will be solely missed but never forgotten.
May she rest in peace.

Carmel was one of a kind!
I met her almost thirty years ago through my dear friend, Noreen, here in Naples, Florida.
She lit up a room when she walked into it, with her smile, the twinkle in her eye, and her sense of style…..AND she could tell a story like no other…..she would have us all in stitches with her turn of phrase, and her facial expressions!!!
I miss her at our gatherings now, but feel blessed to have been included in her friend group all these many years.
May Carmel rest peacefully, free from pain and suffering.

Condolences to all Carmel's family both in Dublin &Naples. I met Carmel in Naples whilst on holiday with my cousin Noreen Edlund. She was a lovely ,funny and witty person. She never forgot her Irish roots. She was a true Dub. May she rest in eternal peace. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam dilis.
I am so sorry to read that Carmel has died. I remember Carmel from my school days in Sion Hill. She had such a great sense of humour and was always on for the craic. I am thinking of her husband, children and her sisters and brother, extended family and friends at this very sad time for you all. Rest in external peace Carnel.
My sister sincere sympathies to Mairéad, Judith and Jonathan,it's so hard to lose a much loved sister. My condolences to Carmel's own family, such a loss for her two sons and her husband. May She Rest in Peace. 🙏
I still find it hard to believe that my lovely, gentle, witty, wise and caring friend, Carmel has departed from this earth, leaving behind all of those she held close to her heart.
I was introduced to Carmel in April, 1992 at an Irish gathering in Naples, Florida. Within minutes of meeting her, we immediately clicked. It was her diehard sense of humor and gentle way she had about her, that formed our friendship.
Soon I met her husband Raffi and her two boys, Adam and Ben. She loved her family, and often spoke of them as well as her parents, siblings and extended family in Ireland.
Carmel leaves a tremendous void in the lives of all those lucky to have her cross their paths.
Outside of her family, Carmel showed a keen interest in current events, and in the lives of her friends. She loved to have what she termed, a heart to heart ‘chinwag.’
She was a true Irish patriot. Although she was separated by an ocean far from the land of her youth, she held her Irish roots dear to her heart.
Rest easy my dear friend. Until we meet again some day. ☘️☘️
