To Ciaran Karen and Colm I am deeply so sorry for your loss and she loved you all so much, Carmel was my pal in the nursing home and everyone knew it, we would chat for hours over the months in fact I think I knew her life story. but one thing she loved more than anything where her sons and grandchildren especially Ciaran and Colm in fact one of my favourite memories was when Ciaran arrived her smile would light up and she would always ah he is very good even though Ciaran was always up to see her. and was probably there the day before, She was a character stubborn and very vocal about anything she wanted to say. She loved her one glass of red wine on a Sunday when Ciaran brought her out to say I will miss her deeply is an understatement and to Karen who kept her in such style always such beautiful clothes you got her , I will miss her terrible

So sorry ciaran the mass was lovley just the way she would have wanted it x

It won't be easy, you'll think it's strange, words from Auntie Carmel's party piece at house parties. It is true , wasn't easy for Carmel particularly last few days . Remembering always calling into Carmel, on my way home from work just to say hello and going to see musicals together and sometimes with ( her niece) Ann , Raphael ( her brother in-law) and (her sister, my mam) Pauline . Switzerland trip , we all went on together along with Brenda ( Carmel's sister from Wales) Lovely memories of Carmel calling in and my mam would get tea and sandwiches for her and biscuits , having endless chats on everything. My mam did a lot for Carmel and we looked after Carmel when she stayed with us , when she fell in the shower.. Mention of Carmel singing in Holy trinity folk group every Sunday when it was at 11.15 mass and the other choir that Carmel was in, third choral (Bayside) .. Carmel is now reunited with Maurice , her sisters , Mary , Pauline, Doreen and her brother, Willie and her mother and father in heaven. Now in Peace and thinking of Ciaran , Colm and Philip at this time ....
