My deepest condolences to Carmels family on her sudden passing. Such lovely heart centered people. Carmel, simply put, was one of a kind and the Heavens are blessed to have her. Carmel made it so effortless and easy just to be yourself with her and so many people loved her for this. I certainly did and I'll miss her so much. Rest in peace Carmel. Until we meet again ❤️

Carmel was simply a fantastic person, very funny , a great friend and always had a positive impact for those lucky enough to cross Carmel's path .She will be missed by lots of people.
I met Carmel thirty years ago and left Westport 2 years later - when visiting Westport it was always great to bump into her and you felt like you were never away- she had a a way of connecting with people which was special

I was very sorry to hear of Carmel's sudden passing. Carmel was a great friend of my late sister Tina (R.I.P.), back in the day. She spent a lot of time in our house as a teenager. I can still see her sliding on a tray down a makeshift ski slope, during a heavy snowfall - full of laughter and fun.

Carmel along with her friends Helen, Ja & Paddy all travelled to Quin for Tina's funeral mass back in 2010. They are now renited again and catching up with each other I'm sure.
