So sad to hear of Carmel's untimely death. We had spoken so often in recent years, yet we never met. Her hearty laughter was so precious. Sympathy to Bernie and all.

Deepest sympathy to all the McBride and extended family from the Bells in New Jersey, US. Miyoko and I got the chance to see Carmel at Judith’s wedding in July and will always remember the craic with her and family. I’ll also remember all the posts of pictures posted by Carmel from the Downings over the years. Made me feels like being at home. Carmel will be sorely missed.
