I was very sad to hear of Carmel's passing. It brought back great memories of my first job, in Dublin Corporation's Public Lighting Department back in 1975, when Carmel was my boss. There were only four women working there and she took us all under her wing. She was so kind and fair to us all. Condolences to her family and friends. Rest in peace Carmel.
Sincere condolences to the McGrane family. Carmel was such a good friend to my Aunt Sheila all her life, and indeed to all the extended Lynch family, especially my parents Eileen and Tony. We have many happy memories of Carmel over the years and I hope they are all meeting together again now.
