Carmel Meares

Fond memories of working with Carmel in the Northern and Employers in Trinity Street in the 1960s. She was unfailingly pleasant and helpful.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Carmel. Fond memories of her coming in to the Special Class in Holy Cross National School Dundrum to engage with the children and help with their literacy and learning. She had a wonderful rapport with the children and I valued her support and friendship as their teacher. A real lady.

My deepest sympathies. I had such lovely times in recent years tending to her beloved garden - and I will miss her charming company. May she rest in peace.
