It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Carmel. A very great and lovely lady whom we had the pleasure of meeting with her dearly departed beautiful daughter the late Jane Carey - May both of their gentle souls rest in peace. May you find comfort in the fact that she is reunited with her dear children Jane, the late Tom (rip) and her dear husband. You can be assured that she continues to keep all of you in her care. Deepest sympathy to the Carey, Mulreid, Rafferty, Brady, Fitzgerald and Walsh families. You are in our thoughts and prayers especially during this very difficult time. Carmel, fondly known as Mrs Mulreid to all our family, was the most lovely person and we as a family feel blessed to have had her as a friend for nearly 50 years. She took such an interest in all of our lives especially the children & then grandchildren. Years ago she gave us a large collection of building blocks telling us this would keep the grandchildren occupied when they came to visit! The building blocks are still in our house and are brought our regularly by the grandchildren this has meant that Mrs Mulreid was often in our thoughts and will be for a long time to come. May she rest in peace.
