So sorry to hear of Carmel’s passing, her warmth, sense of fun and generosity of spirit in Mountjoy Square made it a special office into which to call. That generosity even went as far as swapping her shoes for mine the day I arrived into work with odd ones on, what a trooper! Knowing her great characteristics will always be part of her adored grandchildren in their lives. Sincere sympathies Eoghan and Ademar.

Deepest condolences Eoghan, Anna and all the family. Carmel was the kindest, most down to earth lady you could wish to meet. Even though we are relative blow-ins to the Danieli family, she always made us feel so welcome and was never done offering to do literally anything for us! She was always so thoughtful with our kids, dropping in presents at Christmas and the like. She left a great impression on the world and it was our pleasure to get to know her over the last 15 years. Carmel will be remembered in Darndale with great affection and gratitude for all the many years she spent working for the people most in need. As a member of the St. Vincent de Paul, she was a tireless worker in the mission of visiting and helping so many people in need. She was known for the respect and dignity which she brought in her contacts. People looked forward to her visits and deeply appreciated her kindness and gentleness.
This morning I celebrated Mass for the happy repose of her soul A candle was lit.
