Carmel Tanner

Sincere condolences to the Tanner's on the sad loss of Carmel. She was a great lady and a valued friend and travel companion of my Mum, Marie's. We are saddened to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace. God bless.

We were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Carmel today. Sincere condolences to her sisters Mary and Rita, brothers George and John and Carmel's nieces and nephews. Carmel and I have been friends for nearly 50 years and she has been extremely faithful in keeping up that friendship. Always lighthearted, down to earth, a great conversationalist and with many varied interests she was a true friend to many including ourselves. We had hoped and prayed she would recover from her illness so her death has come as a compete shock to us. May she now enjoy the light of heaven with all who have gone before her and may all who mourn her loss be comforted and consoled by the support of family and friends and by the memories of happy times together.

We were so sad to learn of Carmel's death.She was so kind to our mother Esther down through the years.She always looked forward to Carmel's visits and chats.It was much appreciated. RIP Carmel.

We have just heard of the death of Carmel. Our sincerest sympathy to all the Tanner family. She was our Public Health Nurse when our children were growing up and attended to my father in later years. She excelled in dedication to her work. She was always pleasant, an excellent conversationist and thorough in administering care to all her patients.

Our sincerest sympathy is extended to Mary and all her family on the passing of Carmel. We met Carmel and Mary only once in our lifetimes. We were traveling together in 2013 in Vietnam and Cambodia. Both ladies were great traveling companions. Very friendly, great conversationalists and great at sharing information and stories. They both left us with lasting impressions. So so sorry that Carmel is no longer with us in body but will always be in spirit. Our loss that we did not know her and Mary better. May Carmel’s gentle soul now rest in everlasting peace.

So sorry to learn of Carmel's death - we just heard about it tonight and whilst it was expected, it has come as a great shock to us. Just last Monday we visited Carmel in the hospice and so sorry we are unable to make her funeral tomorrow but will be remembering her family- Sr. Edel, Mary, George, John, nieces, nephews and extended family in our thoughts and prayers. Carmel was a great and true friend of mine since we trained as public health nurses. Will miss her very much - she was such a sincere and kind person. May her gentle soul rest in peace
