Glamorous, great sense of humour and very dedicated to HGC. She will be sorely missed. Deepest sympathies to her husband Paddy and daughters and grandchildren.

We were so sorry to hear of Carmel’s passing. She was so lovely to me and my family when my dad, Errol passed away last November. Dad always spoke so highly of Carmel and her support of him and junior golf. Myself and my family send our sincerest condolences at this very difficult time.

Dear Paddy, Adrienne, Yveanne, Kate and family,

Sean and I would like to express our sincere sympathy to you all on the most untimely passing of your dear Carmel, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. You gave her a most beautiful send off with the funeral service this morning and you all spoke with great dignity, love and pride. We knew Carmel through Howth Golf Club where she was a wonderful Lady Vice Captain during our centenary year in 2016, our wonderful Captain in 2017 and a great support to her Lady Captain appointee Derval in 2018. She was a most committed member and worked as you said Adrienne to make sure everything was done right. She was also most glamourous and always looked fabulous. She will be greatly missed by you all and by everyone who was fortunate to have known her,
