Carmel enjoyed life and people's company - fun, kindness and her lovely smile will be part of my many memories. When I have rhubarb from my garden, Carmel comes to mind as she very graciously gave me a present of it a number of years back. Take care of yourselves.

My sincerest condolences to you Connie and extended family.I have great memories of your mother Carmel over my life time.!She was a good family friend to my parents Edward and Breda.I last spoke to her on her house phone 7 years ago.We had a great long chat.My late mother and herself were from Killester ,originally.She and I worked as volunteers in local groups when I was in my early twenties.She was such a strong person with a great sense of fun and a great laugh.I have memories of her and Your late Dad Derek at parties in my parents home along with Your late brother Jimmy.She was great person to confide in and give sound advice.God is with Carmel ,Derek,Jimmy and Paul now.May Carmel rest in peace.Take care Connie.Love Anne ,hug
