Please accept my deep condolences on the death of Carol. She was always helpful to CUS Parents Association and to my own son, particularly during his first year as he struggled to find his way. Indeed, she was greatly missed by all when she left CUS. It is never easy to deal with bereavement but l hope you can be comforted by these messages and in the knowledge that Carol was highly regarded.

I will always cherish wonderful memories of my dear friend Carol and be grateful for our close friendship of 40 years which started in Germany and France when we were both young language teachers.We had good laughs and fun together but also exchanged personal sorrows and worries. Carol was such an empathic listener and counsellor, a loyal friend and she had a brilliant mind. She was warm, kind and loving with my daughter Caroline and her daughter Cleo. We are very sad and will miss Carol.

I am so deeply sorry. Carol was truly exceptional. Always so kind and thoughtful to everyone she knew and met. Her watchful eye on the Malahide pupils in CUS meant we always knew what they were getting up to but especially no boy left their bag behind on the dart if Carol was sharing the same carriage! She worked so hard behind the scenes never expecting anything in return.

I hope the warmth of her memories and the legacy of her deep love for you anchors and comforts you during this time.
