Carol Lockhart

My Daughters and I send our deepest condolences. The news came as an immense shock. Carol will be dearly missed. My time spent with her when I worked with her in Jamaica will always be among the experiences that stay with me for a lifetime. She was warm, welcoming and a no-nonsense woman who stood for the right thing. She admirably talked about her husband and children all the time. I pray for their peace and strength at this time. Patrick, Harry, Rebecca and her sweet Ollie, as well as other relatives.

My deepest condolences to all Carol's family. I will never forget her kindness to me when I moved to Jamaica. Carol was a woman of strong values and common sense who was not afraid to do and say the right thing.

'Shocking' doesn't even come close to describing the tragically sad news that Carol has passed from our sight. My deepest condolences to Paddy, Rebecca and Harry. I knew Carol as one of the basketball enthusiasts back in the 70s, and all of my memories are happy ones of her. She was always in good humour with a smile on her face and with great generosity of spirit - may her gentle soul rest in Peace.

She was a very special person and I was fortunate enough to have had two great career journeys with her, the first in Intel where she seamlessly moved from Librarian to a first class HR professional and again many moons later at Digicel in Jamaica where she was a held in the highest regard by all she dealt with becoming a true role model for many Jamaicans whom she mentored in their careers. There are a few people who leave an indelible positive mark on others, Carol was one such person. I have no doubt heaven has just got a new HR Director and I suspect we may hear the odd Dolly Parton song from the clouds.
