I last saw Carol at a mutual friend's wedding several years ago - we hadn't have spoken since primary school, Carol was in my brother's class - but remembered each other straight away. She was as lovely as I remembered. We chatted for a while and I left reflecting on how down to earth, warm and gentle she was. May she rest in peace.

I'm very sorry to hear of Carol's passing; while I only worked with her for a short time at Tailte Éireann, her warmth, humour and wonderful nature could be felt anytime she was in the room. She was brilliant at her job, but more importantly she was a great colleague and friend to be around. I would have loved to have known her for longer, but I'm glad for the time we did have.
