My deepest sympathy to you all even though we have never met.
Carole and I were great friends and classmates at Loreto College St Stephen's Green many years ago.
Sadly our paths diverged and we lost touch after we left school.
Carole obviously went on to make a huge contribution to the lives of many other people.
May she rest in peace

My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Mrs Downey was my form teacher for 5 yrs. She was a wonderful teacher, so full of love and compassion. We all felt we could tell her anything. May she rest in peace xx
I send my deepest sympathies to Jim & family. Carole was my guidance counsellor at school but she became so much more than that to me. She helped me through some very bad times during my school years and I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today if it hadn’t been for her guidance, her time that she gave to me so easily, her understanding but most of all her friendship. I was so sad to hear of her passing but most of all that I missed her funeral. She was truly an amazing lady & one will be be sorely missed by so many people. I really wish I could turn back time & meet for a coffee & a chat. The world has lost one of the great ones.
Jim, our deep and heartfelt sympathy to you and all the family on Carole's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am very sorry to read about the passing of one of the best and kindest teachers I ever had in St Mary's school in Glasnevin (1971-73). She was a real inspiration to us young students. May she rest in peace.
