Dear Sharon, John, Phil and family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful mum, Carole. Please accept my deepest condolences.
I have so many happy memories of time spent in your home with both your mum and dad — they always made me feel so welcome, and those moments will stay with me. Although I couldn’t travel to be with you, I was grateful to be able to watch both services online today. They were incredibly moving, and the love you all have for your mum shone through so clearly.
It was especially touching to see the way you supported one another. The bond you share as brothers and sister was so evident, and I have no doubt your mum would be immensely proud of you all.
I know the days and weeks ahead may feel heavy, but I hope you can take some comfort in knowing how lovingly you cared for Carole, and that she is now at peace and reunited with your dad.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
